The December 2025 housing market in St. Cloud, MN and the surrounding areas showed signs of continued adjustment and stability across the local market. Compared to December 2024, new listings and total homes for sale increased, giving buyers more inventory and additional options heading into winter.
The December 2025 housing market in St. Cloud, MN and the surrounding areas showed signs of continued adjustment and stability across the local market. Compared to December 2024, new listings and total homes for sale increased, giving buyers more inventory and additional options heading into winter.

Despite higher inventory levels, homes continued to sell at a steady pace. Average days on market decreased, and median home prices remained stable year over year, indicating that buyer demand is still present when homes are priced correctly and prepared well. While months of supply increased compared to last year, the market remains below what is typically considered a fully balanced market.

Overall, December’s housing data points to a market that is normalizing rather than slowing down. Activity is less competitive than in recent years, but pricing stability and consistent sales suggest a healthier, more predictable environment for both buyers and sellers as we move into the new year.
